Two Arches Trail

Ride your bike north from Behind the Rocks Road or the Rubble Hill Behind the Rocks - Hwy 191 connector. When the road turns west along the border of the Wilderness Study Area, stay on the same path and follow the hill contour. This road is not as traveled by OHVs as others in the area, so you can anticipate less sand and traffic on weekends. The rocky ledges can be challenging in some areas, yet are still ride-able in both directions. As you go, enjoy the views of Spanish Valley, the Lasal Mountains, and the eastern side of the Fins. Be sure to look out for the Moab Rim Arch which is large but subtle, and the Tukuhnikivats (or Tukuhnikivista) Arch, a smaller arch that is a great spot for a short hike.
