The Trough Canyon Trail #163 is 2.2 miles long. This trail begins and ends at Forest Trail #011 (Tuerto). This trail follows Trough Canyon and a small intermittent side stream to Trough Canyon. Access to this trail is off of Forest Road #095 (The Causeway). Loops can be made using this trail and other area trails. The other trails which can be used to complete various loops include: Tuerto to Skyline (#457), Skyline (#015), Blue Creek-Tuerto Canyon (#014), Blue Creek/Allen Canyon (#013) and Tuerto (#011).
