Kachina Bridge Shortcut Connector

If you have already seen one of the other bridges and want to take a shorter path back to the parking area, the Kachina Bridge Shortcut Connector is a great choice. The trail is only a mile long and is very level, however it is completely exposed with only small juniper-like trees for shelter.

The route is easy to spot and goes through bio-crust, so remain on the path to protect the delicate dirt. There are a few drainages that might look like trails, but when you reach the Owachomo Bridge to Sipapu Bridge Trail it will be apparent.
