SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Good Things Utah) – The Moab to Monument Valley Film Commission, one of the longest running film commissions, celebrates its 75th anniversary this year!

Coinciding with 100 years of filming in Utah. Established in 1949, the commission supports Grand and San Juan Counties and is pivotal in attracting film tourism, with 37% of visitors coming to Utah because they saw it in a movie! Recently the film “Horizon: An American Saga,” which premiered at the Festival de Cannes, was shot in this region, highlighting its stunning landscapes.
