Dark Canyon East Trail

Also known as The Notch Trail, this trail takes you on a thrilling descent from the top of Dark Canyon Corridor (FR 378), with deep stream channels carving through the soil.

The highlight of the hike is the historic Scorup Cabin, a charming cabin originally located in Rig Canyon and used by cowhands from the 1930s until the 1970s.
