Behind the Rocks Trail

Starting from the trailhead near Highway 191, head down Behind the Rocks Road, staying left at the first fork about a half mile in. The road is gravelly for the first few miles and then becomes more rocky with some sandy sections. You can ride as far as you like and then return the way you came or explore the many other trails in the area. While you're here, don't forget to check out the Lone Rock, a large Entrada sandstone formation with two arches and impressive alcoves.
