Piute Pass

A challenging Jeep trail through remote country south of Hite. The trail climbs up onto Wingate Mesa from Highway 95 then drops down the other side to a major intersection. At this intersection you can take the north leg or south leg to reach a graded road in Red Canyon.

Length: 38 miles

Trail Type: Loop

Directions: From Blanding, head south on Highway 191 to Highway 95. Stay on Highway 95 for just under 60 miles. Around mile marker 65 there will be a sign for the Piute Pass Trail.
