Miner's Basin Road (FS #065)

The dirt road can be accessed from the La Sal Mountain Loop Road which is paved. It is used by mountain bikers and hikers to reach the Miner's Basin Trail, and along the way, there are some beautiful views of Castle Valley. The climb to the top of the trail is a challenging one, as it requires gaining almost 1,800 feet in elevation over a three-mile stretch.
