Lost Canyon Trail

You can access this trail from the Salt Canyon or Pekaboo Trails, both of which begin at the Salt Flat Campground parking area. The descent into the canyon from Salt Canyon Trail is quite steep.

The trail is clearly marked with rock cairns and is relatively flat, running through thick trees and brush and often alongside a stream. The terrain is rough and sandy, with cliffs and washes. The views are amazing and there are plenty of places to take in the beauty of the desert.
