Indian Creek Corridor along the route to the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park with plenty to do and see in its own right.
While there aren't many established trails, hikers can trek through a canyon wash, keeping their eyes peeled for petroglyphs and archaeological sites. Mountain bikers can cruise over BLM roads.
Indian Creek is most famous as a climbing destination. Twenty-six miles of 5.10-5.12 trad split crack routes draw climbers from all over the world.
Summers and winters can challenging temperature-wise, so the best time to explore is spring and fall. Dispersed and backcountry camping is allowed in Indian Creek, so it's a good place for some solitude or as a home base to explore the Needles District of Canyonlands.
