Horsecollar Ruin Overlook Trail

Take a short, mostly level hike along the rocky trail from the parking area to the edge of White Canyon. There, you'll encounter a viewing area with a safety fence to protect from falls.

From this vantage point, you can see the remnants of an ancient Puebloan cliff dwelling in a large alcove near the bottom of the canyon. It features two granaries with peculiarly shaped doors, giving the archaeological site its name.

A pair of binoculars or a zoom lens will help you to make out the details of the structure.
