CCDC Citizen Science Summer of Fun. Life Science, Cooking with the Sun, Dinosaurs, and Desert Adventure. Ages 8-11, August 2-6, $50. Plants, Animals, and everything amazing about them! How do living things adapt to the desert? How can we help the desert bloom? What living things call this place home? Learn all this and more! Love dinosaurs? Want to learn more about ancient life? Our F.O.S.S.I.L. activities are sure to excite and inspire! Fun Outside Studying Stones with Imbedded Life. Why beat the heat this summer when you can use it to cook! Learn to harness the power of the sun to make food by constructing a solar oven. Venture into the great outdoors to learn about the wonders of nature! Explore landscapes and learn about the fantastic animals and plants that live there. Enrich your child's summer by enrolling them in our Citizen Science Summer of Fun. Our week-long program facilitates learning through hands-on activities and immersive education activities. At the end of the week, we facilitate a guided hike where they apply what they've learned to understand the world around them.
