Join BEP for a day of volunteering near Butler Wash in the Bears Ears National Monument on Friday, September 6.
The goal is to improve the trail to ensure hikers and other visitors are following dedicated trails. The primary tasks include vegetation clearing, and tree bucking.
Volunteers will receive an orientation on Visit With Respect guidelines, which all volunteers and visitors need to follow to respect cultural and natural sites. A BLM botanist will share information about plant identification, and Volunteer Manager Ricky Begaye will also share about the importance of local pollinators.
Meet up at 9am, and the project will conclude at 2pm. Exact location details will be sent after you register.
