Color The Town Purple
Join Utah Foster Care at our FREE community event, Color the Town Purple, designed to raise awareness of the need for more foster families and support for local children in foster care. The event will take place on Friday, May 15th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Monticello Veterans Memorial Park. This FREE, family-friendly event aims to bring together the local community to advocate for more foster families and brighter futures for children in foster care. Utah Foster Care and DCFS staff, along with current foster families, will speak on the critical need for more foster families in Duchesne and Uintah counties. Guests can enjoy a variety of fun, family-friendly activities including purple snow cones and cotton candy, face painting and temporary tattoos, a fishing pond, bucket toss, sidewalk chalk, and making pinwheels in support of foster care. This event is a significant opportunity for residents of Monticello and the surrounding areas to gain a deeper understanding of foster families and the pressing needs within their local community.
