Create Handmade Paper from Local & Invasive Plants with Kate Aitchison

Participants will experience the use of local materials to create unique art objects through the traditional craft of papermaking. This course focuses on the sustainable practice of processing local plant species into handmade paper. This workshop is led by local community artist Kate Aitchison.

What's Included:

- All materials and supplies

- A collection of your handmade papers to take home

What to Bring:

- Comfortable clothes that can get wet- Apron (optional)

- Any special items you'd like to incorporate into your paper (dried flowers, leaves, threads, etc.)


Instructor: Kate Aitchison - Local community artist
